Day 1 at Cardigan

I woke and and thought to myself that today was the day that I was going to cardigan I was so happy to go to cardigan. I got up and started getting ready I got dressed and went down stars got some breakfast and then my mom put my bags in the car and I said to my parents and then we went to the school and when we got to the school bus was already there. My mom left I put my stuff in the trailer and got on the bus when we got on the bus we could sit with anyone we wanted i was sitting with Amelia. Then the bus started to go and we left for cardigan and we were on our way. The bus was were crazy and there was a lot of yelling and talking and all of that. There was singing and talking I was so tired I wanted to go to sleep but I was just too much noise. So I didn't fall asleep but then we arrived. An hour and 30 minutes later we were there. Right When we got of the bus everyone was so tired they were ready to go to their bunks and get in the beds but that did not happen. When we got off the bus we went to get our stuff and put it on the ground next to everybody. We got in a circle introduced our self and played some games we also went over some rules too when to go to bed when to wake up in the morning and many people did not like to hear what time we had to wake up because it was so early. But people got used to it and realized tha tI wasent that bad. The games that we played were rock, paper,siccor, shot and if you lost you would have to support how you lost agents. We also played another game but I forgot what it was. An hour went by And we all got to go in our rooms but only for a little cause we ad to go on a hike after. So when we got in are rooms everyone got a bunk and set their stuff aside on the wall. We got outside and got in our groups and then we sketched the lodge that we stayed in for three days. Then we went to go on are hike it was fun sometimes it got boring having to stop all the time and sketch but whatever. So when we were on the trail we saw a snake some people freaked out because they hated snakes or they were just afraid of them. So we sketched the snake, and then out of nowhere we started walking and that's when I saw a little black bear and I said “ hey look its a bear” everyone looked behind them some people saw it and some didn't. At first i thought i was a dog but then I realized it was a snake. We backed away slowly and keeps going. One of the parents stade back to make sure that the bear wasn't coming out way. We keep going on our hike. We were stopping a lot to make sketches but over all the hike was fun. We were heading back so close to the lodge but then we stopped playing a game it was fun someone had to wear a mask and the other person would bring them to a tree they would feel around the tree and then they were brought back to the circle . they took the masks off and then they had to find the tree that they were brought too. I did good I found the tree that I was Looking for and my partner found the one that she was looking for. Then we finally he added back. When we got back we had an hour of free time you could do whatever you wanted. Then we went down starts to listen to directions about dinner we were having spaghetti and meatballs it was okay not the best but good. Then we had desert and everyone was so happy they brought out the desert and one table got it at a time my group was so happy to get the desert. When we got it everyone looked at it they said that they didn't know what it was. So they asked the chef what it was and he said that it was french toast with bananas and some other thing I forgot what there was. The people clean it up and we went upstairs people took showers and people hung out and did other things before it was time to read some books and talk about are first day at cardigan. An hour went by and we all went to are rooms and went to bed some people were at other peoples rooms but when it hit 9:00 you had to be in your own rooms. Then everyone went to bed and had a good night's sleep.
The theme that I did was movement. The movement of the day was the bear the bear was on the trail and it was eating or sniffing something on the ground. There was a lot of other things that I could do but i thought that the bear was cool to do.
